Faith going to the Military Ball Solo

WOW!!! She is so pretty. Kathy helped her with her hair and did her make-up. She is great at that. They both are very pretty. She had a lot of fun but wishes she would have had a date. This was the first time Hope didn't go. She had been every year since she had been in High School but she decided not to go this year whatever!!! I'm just very thankful that I have such beautiful daughters.

Going home through Chimmney Rock our favorite place!!

What a great time we had together. It is fun to get away for some alone time. I love my children and am very thankful that the lord has blessed me so richly. I thank him every day and hope that they appreciate all that we have done for them.

Flowers at the Biltimore House Arbiritium

We walked through the garden to the Arboretum. It was so pretty walking there and being inside. I really had a very relaxing and enjoyable day. We walked back to the car and drove down to the Bass Pond and took some pictures. Very pretty. Hope would love taking pictures here. I hope we can bring them soon.

Valentine's at the Biltimore House in North Carolina

This really big house is in Asheville,NC and it is the biggest house in the US. The square footage of the house is 4 acres. It was so awesome to see it. It was my first time going to see it. Terry had been there when he was in Elementary School
I want to come back and bring the girls to see it. It is about an hour and twenty min from the house. We had a great time being with out the children but of course we bought them each something. They I'm sure enjoyed a break from us also. We spent three hours going around inside the Biltmore house. It is four stories and also has a gigantic basement. It was built in 1895 and it has the most beautiful tapestries and furniture and the library alone is huge. He loved books. This mans family got there money from railroads and shipping and of course there where no taxes back then so they had a lot of money. We ate lunch at The Stables restaurant and it was very nice. They messed up Terry's order so we got free dessert and it was a piece of chocolate mousse with raspberry and chocolate sauces and whipped topping and boy was it good. I can't wait to see the garden when the flowers are in bloom. They also have a huge garden,Stables and a Winery. We spent so much time at the house and grounds that we didn't get to see the rest of the sights. Maybe next time any family comes from out west we can take them to see it. They would love it.

Cool Circus for Zoie and Mom Jan 31,2009

The children at church had a trip to the Circus so I went with Zoie and we had a great time. It was awesome. My favorite was the motorcycles in the big metal ball. They had seven at one time in there riding in a circle unbelievable!!! The other was the things that looked like big donuts that they bounced on and did tricks. Zoie liked the dogs and the tigers. We had fun and it was also nice to do just her and I time. I love you Zoie you are awesome!!!
