Touring a college for miss Hopie!!

This is Hope ready for the Prom earlier this year in May. Anyway we went to the Art Institute of Charlotte and went to there Open House and started the paper work for College and part of it is she has to write 2 essays for her application and have it ready by Thursday morning to be e-mailed to them. So she has been writing like a mad women and asking her teachers to edit it for her. I am very excited for her and am glad she has finally woke up to being serious about school. She broke up with her 7 month boyfriend because she put her school work before him and he didn't like it.

Boys first day of School WOW!!

Getting them awake was interesting. Then they both cried when we took them into school. When we picked up Johnathon he was chest poked out and struting across the playground like he owned the place. He just goes for until 10:30 am and Gabriel and Zoie get out at 2:20 pm. We came back and got Gabriel and Zoie and when Gabriel came to the van he let out a big breath growl and said "We were a mean family because we left him for a long long time". SO of course we couldn't help but bust out laughing. Since then they have gotten adjusted to getting up and getting ready. We have only had one really bad morning and that was awful because they both had to be carried into school kicking and screaming by the teachers. Hopefully that will never happen again. Yea school.

What a fun afternoon we had. Hopie had to work so she didn't get to come with us Bummer!!

Trip to Chimmney Rock after school!!

We took the kids after school on Thursday to Chimmney Rock and had a great time. We feed the ducks, went on the boat tour, and had the worlds best ice cream. We also cooked out Hamburgers and hot dogs. It was a lot of fun.
